Bilpin is known as ‘Land of the Mountain Apple’. Fruit orchards and beautiful gardens thrive here and the road is lined with roadside stalls selling homemade produce. It is a great stopover to taste an apple pie under the old trees.
Mount Tomah is a host to the marvellous Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, featuring thousands of plants from around the world. Settled at about 1,000 metres above sea level, the garden overlooks the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and boasts impressive panoramic views.
