Katoomba - Blackheath Tour

is a fast-paced exciting ride from Echo Point in Katoomba to Govetts Leap Lookout in Blackheath, stopping at the Hydro Majestic on our way back to Katoomba.

Starting from Echo Point we ride along Cliff Drive, passing the Scenic World. Stopping briefly at Narrow Neck Lookout we get impressed by the view of Megalong Valley and the Narrow Neck Plateau. We continue riding and stop at Cahill's Lookout; a breathtaking vista point overlooking the valley and surrounding cliffs.

Flying along the Great Western Highway we pass Medlow Bath and head towards glorious Blackheath, known as the Rhododendron town. We ride through the town centre enjoying colourful vegetation. Eventually we stop at Govetts Leap Lookout. The view of the Grose Valley is absolutely fantastic and you can be amazed by the Bridal Veil Falls, the highest falls in the Blue Mountains of sheer 180 metres.

Making our way back, we take a stop at the iconic Hydro Majestic, stretching 1.1 kilometres along the escarpment edge of the spectacular Megalong Valley. To finish our journey we enter Katoomba, riding through the town centre, having time to see some historic buildings including The Carrington Hotel and The Uniting Church.
